Sprout Sprouts!
Have you ever considered how easy sprouting seeds is? Mm, perhaps not. Well I am hear to show you how simply it is!
You will need a mason jar with a lid, a rubberband, a cheese cloth, seeds, oh and water.
First pour about 1/4 a cup of seeds (I used wheat) into your jar and fill it with water, screw on your lid and let it sit overnight.
The next morning remove the lid, drain off the water and attach your cheese cloth..like so.
Continue to water your seeds several times a day, always draining off all excess water. We don't want mold growing, do we? Of course not!
Very soon (about day 2-3) you should start seeing tiny white tails starting to poke out. Keep watering, and set them in a sunny window so they can soak up some sunshine.
Over the next day or so the tails will grow bigger and greener.
Let them sprout to your desired length and then enjoy them in soups, salads, smoothies, desserts, or just eat them by the handful!
