Don't we all look forward to the weekends? We get to relax, piddle around with fun projects, pick up that book you've been longing to read all week, etc. Unless...you live on a farm, then there is no such thing as a weekend. I tend to work harder on the weekends it seems like, then I do during the week! Surely I'm not the only one?
I spent the last few hours of daylight one evening cleaning out some pens.
Pitchforking some hay
This sassy girl, wanted her picture taken
Chickens volunteering their services
Small goose run raked out, and bedding changed.
Clean Peafowl run, and nighttime pen.
Last, but not least; I scraped out the goose house and swept, then laid down fresh hay.
Some of the geese got tired of watching mom cleaning out their house, and waddled off in search of grass.
It's amazing how much work you can accomplish, in just a few short hours, if you put your mind to it.

What better way to end a great weekend, than to admire this lovely sunset?
